Two-State Coalition: Palestinian-Israel Seminar

More than 15 Palestinian and Israeli leaders of the Two-State Coalition (TSC) met this week for an intensive multi-day joint seminar. The representatives of the TSC presented the dynamics and developments shaping both societies including analysis of public opinion, and shared new strategies for strengthening the partnership of the peace camp. Joined by Israel MK Mossi Raz, and Palestinian Official and Former Minister for Water, Shaddad Attili, we also explored the major challenges and potential openings provided by the new political dynamics.
There is cautious optimism about political change in Israel, and hope that the composition of the government will bring a new opportunity for the resumption of dialogue between the parties. The Palestinians, for their part, testify to the PA’s readiness to enter into political negotiations and talks with the new government.
The TSC is a vital coalition of civil society leaders working in synergy to promote the two-state solution in both societies, rather than each organization working singularly. Coalition meetings provide opportunities for meaningful engagement,  important dialogue and the bolstering of communication channels in order to respond to challenges of the day, and to find ways to coordinatE our approaches to promote our shared end-goal
Thank you to the European Union for their partnership in supporting the TSC.
