On December 5^th, 2006 Geneva Initiative held an open evening in honor Geneva Initiative Signatories, Dr. Menachem Klein and Col (Res.) Shaul Arieli, each of who recently launched their own book on the solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The conference was held in cooperation between Geneva Initiative and the Marc Rich Foundation and was entitled: How to End the Conflict with the Palestinains.

Besides the respective authors, the audience was also addressed by Gen (Res.) Amos Lapidot who spoke of the injustice brought about by the settlements and Former MK Uzi Landau (Likud) who related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as an inseperable part of Israel's conflict with the Arab and Islamic world.  

The Israeli audience was also addressed by Professor Nazmi El'Jubeh who spoke about the majority within the Palestinian public who support a peace agreement with Israel.

The evening was facilitated by authoress and former settler Yael Mishali.
