Conclusion of our Advanced Political Course

This week, we concluded the ninth cycle of our "Advanced Political Course". The intensive two-month course brought together political activists from all walks of the political system, including members of Likud, Shas, Meretz and the Zionist Camp, to learn about various aspects of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
During the final meeting, participants met with Dan Rothem, Senior Research Consultant for The S. Daniel Abraham Center for Middle East Peace. Rothem talked about some of the psychological barriers to peacemaking and how to overcome them, giving our trainees important tools to fight biases and open their minds to alternative narratives and points of view.

The activists who took part in this activity leave the Geneva Initiative better informed, more motivated and equipped to advance the cause of peace within their communities and political circles. We are proud to have them as our ambassadors of peace.

This course was made possible by the support of the American People through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
