“We are at the beginning of a new era in the Middle East” said Halevy, “the end of the Mubarak Government poses a huge question mark on regarding Egypt. Another question mark is the stability of Syria; US relations with Iraq; 10 years to the Afghanistan War – the end of which is unforeseeable; the minorities in Iran which have bagun to raise their heads and Iran’s internal coherence after it suffered a major blow in the past year. I suggest to each and every one of us to closely follow what is happening in Iran”.
