Geneva Initiative at the Rabin Memorial Ceremonies

The Geneva Initiative took part in the two memorial services for the late Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, which took place in Tel Aviv in early November.

At each event, Geneva Initiative staff and volunteers manned stall where they distributed signs, posters, stickers and copies of the Geneva Accords as well as discussing the Initiative with many hundreds of interested participants.
During the first ceremony, which focused on calls for Israel to work for a peace agreement, former Israeli President Shimon Peres said: "Those who do not believe in peace are the delusional ones, the naive ones. An imperfect peace is better than total conflict. A cold peace is better than a hot war."

"Agreement, we are missing you" (a hebrew wordplay).
