On June 17, the Geneva Initiative conducted a tour of the Jerusalem area for leaders of the United Kibbutz Movement.

The leadership of the United Kibbutz Movement, the largest Kibbutz movement in Israel, attended the half day tour, led by Col. (Res.) Shaul Arieli. The tour was designed to illustrate potential border solutions in and around Jerusalem. Participants got an up-close look at the separation barrier at Abu Dis, drive along Route 443, and visit look-out points at at Neve Samuel and the Mount of Olives. The event was organized in partnershipw with Ze'ev Shor, Chairman of the United Kibbutz Movement and leader within the Labor party. |
