GI Conference on the issue of Palestinian Refugees

On September 14, GI held a conference in Tel Aviv on the issue of the Palestinian Refugees. The event comprised of two panels during which a detailed suggestion for the mechanisms of the resolution of the issue of Palestinian Refugees were presented.

Among others, speakers included Former PA Minister for Prisoners’ Affairs, Ashraf El Ajrami; Ma’ariv columnist, Ben Dror Yemini; Brigadier General (Ret.) Israela Oron; Meretz Party Chairman, Haim Oron; Professor Omri Yadlin and Professor (Emeritus) Ruth Lapidot.

The conference was attended by 200 members of the political and security establishments, journalists, academicians and civil society leaders as well as diplomatic community representatives from over 20 different states.

The conference drew press coverage including an interview of panel speaker, Brigadier General (Ret) Israela Oron for Israel's TV Channel Two news talk show.
