GI Director-General met with Brazilian Foreign Minister |
26.07.2010 The meeting was held in Jerusalem and was initiated by FM Amorim as a follow up to a briefing held between GI representatives and Brazilian President Lula de Silva during his last visit to the region in March of this year.
Gadi Baltiansky spoke to the Foreign Minister about the Geneva Initiative and gave an analysis of the current climate for peace. The two engaged in a dialogue on prospects for the peace process.
In addition to his time in Jerusalem, Foreign Minister Celso Amorim was scheduled to stop in Tripoli, Ramallah, Istanbul, and Damascus.
