On Tuesay, November 4th, Geneva Initiative held a gathering in Kibbutz Sdot Yam for dozens of local leaders from all towns of the Hof HaCarmel regional council near Haifa.
 

Among the participants was Regional Council Head Carmel Sela, who welcomed other municipal and town leaders as well as political leadership from the various parties.

The schedule included a lecture on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by Col. (Ret.) Shaul Arieli, followed by a panel discussion with Mr. Sela and former Palestinian Minister Suyan Abu-Zeideh, who presented the audience with a Palestinian perspective on the conflict.
