On Friday, November 30th, Geneva Initiative held a gathering at Sha'ar Hanegev regional council with Council Head Alon Shuster and 65 residents of nearby towns.

Among participants were Gush Katif evacuees as well as many residents of towns subject to Qassam fire.

Col. (Res.) Shaul Arieli and Palestinian journalist Elias Zananiri spoke to participants about the current political situation and the prospects for peace.
