On Friday, September 5th, Geneva Initiative held a tour of the separation barrier around Jerusalem for residents and members of the Hof Ashkelon regional council, which governs several towns, including some established to house Israeli settlers evacuated from the Gaza Strip.

37 people from the municipality attended the tour, including the head of the municipality and four evacuees.

GI signatory Col. (res.) Shaul Arieli guided the tour, providing participants with relevent information and taking them to key observation points.
