GI holds web-based Russian-language campaign ahead of New Year |
On December 13th-22nd, Geneva Initiative ran a Russian-language web campaign to promote the idea of change in the New Year on the form of a peace agreement. Banners promoting the idea were posted on http://www.zahav.ru/, http://www.isra.com/, and http://www.mignews.com/, the three leading websites in the Russain-speaking Israeli community. These sites mostly appeal to a audiences aged 25-55, a wide demographic that cannot easily be addressed in other manners. The banners draw a link between the New Year and the opportunity to reach a peace agreement and then change into the GI logo. By clicking the banners, internet users are taken to GI's website in Russian. |
