On May 31, the Geneva Initaitive held an evening in Ashdod to address the city's local leadership.

The event was hosted by Ashdod Mayor Dr. Yehiel Lasri. Among speakers were Dr. Yossi Beilin, MK Arie Eldad (Ichud Leumi) and former PA Minister Ashraf Al-Ajrami.
