On Monday, Geneva Initiative architects MK Yossi Beilin and senior Palestinian negotiator Yasser Abed Rabbo met with Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey in Geneva, as well as with other senior representatives of the Swiss leadership.

GI Director Generals Nidal Foqaha and Gadi Baltiansky also attended the meetings.

The foreign minister voiced her support for GI's continued efforts to promote a negotiated solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and showed an interest in GI's latest publication, the "An Agreement within a Year" booklet.
