GI leadership course addressed by GI's leading women

On Monday, March 22, the Geneva Initiative's leadership course comprising of activists and position holders from Likud, Kadima, Labor and other parties were addressed by two Geneva Initiative representatives: Brigadier General (Ret). Israela Oron and Adv. Talia Sasson.

Talia Sasson who is also the author of the Sasson Report on settlements and illegal outposts (commissioned by the Sharon Government) opened the session and spoke about Israel’s standing in the world and the need for an agreement with the Palestinians in order to uphold Israel’s democracy and international support.

Brigadier General (Ret.) Israela Oron continued the session with a briefing about the issue of Palestinian refugees, the Geneva Initiative’s solution to this issue as well as a separate paper which she co-drafted regarding the mechanism which would comprise part of the solution.
