On Friday, March 13th, 2007, Geneva Initiative representatives MK Yossi Beilin and Yasser Abed Rabbo along with a number of Israeli and Palestinian GI representatives met with Chinese Special Envoy to the Middle-East AMB. Mr. SUN Bigan and Deputy Director of Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mr. ZHANG Haitao.

The trilateral meeting was a follow-up meeting to the seminar on the Middle East Peace Process, conducted under the auspices of the Government of the People's Republic of China in December 2006. The seminar, which took place in Beijing was attended by a delegation of 10 Geneva Initiative Israeli and Palestinian representatives, further to the kind invitation of Chinese Government.

In the meeting on Friday, the three sides discussed future cooperation on similar activities.
