In an official statement, the Department of the Foreign Affairs recalls that Switzerland, with other countries, financially supported of the Geneva Initiative with approximately a million francs to the Tel-Aviv and Ramallah secretariats.

Time: What do you want of Switzerland?
Yasser Abed Rabbo: We hope, on the two sides, to extend our efforts so that the Geneva Accord becomes one of the principal references for future discussions of peace. These agreements were supplemented by new appendices concerning water, the environment, and safety. The details are crucial for us. We want to work with all the parts concerned, including the Swiss authorities, to facilitate the discussions.

What do you await Swiss diplomacy concretely?
Publicity, it is not for me to answer. Micheline Calmy-Rey knows better than me what there is to make in the details, how to contact the people concerned.
