In December, Geneva Initiative-Palestine Peace Coalition held a political seminar at the Al-Salam Hotel in Gaza City.

Keynote speakers at the seminar urged public support for Palestinian negotiators and emphasized that the Palestinian political split weakens the position of the Palestinian negotiators and will eventually destroy the community.

In the seminar, Talal Okal, political analyst, Mr. Salah Zidan, member of the Political Office of the Palestinian Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and Mr. Dawoud Shehab, spokesperson of Al-Jihad A-Islami, led a debate on the latest political developments.

Among the approximately 70 participants at the seminar were politicians, political analysts, media specialists, representatives of the national and Islamic factions and community leaders from Gaza Strip.
