GI's University Leadership Course Tours Hebron |
Date: 6.04.2009 On April 6th, the Geneva Initiative held a tour to Southern Mount Hebron for 20 participants of a leadership program jointly developed and implemented by the Geneva Initiative and the Student Union at the Tel-Aviv University.
The tour commenced as part of the program dealing with settlement expansion and the spreading of illegal outposts in the West Bank. Other issues discussed as part of the program include the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and alternatives to its resolution. During the course, students will develop projects to promote the peace process and these will be implemented with the semester's completion. This is the program's second cycle.
