On April 22-24, GI held a seminar in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, for 46 members of the Shas party. Among the participants were Rabbis, members of regional councils, mayors and senior political figures.

On April 22-24, GI held a seminar, in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, for 46 members of the Shas party. Among the participants were Rabbis, members of regional councils, mayors and senior political figures.

The seminar included a tour along the northern section of the separation barrier guided by Col. (Ret.) Shaul Arieli and lectures by Minister of Religious Affairs Yaacov Margi, Former PA Minister Sufyan Abu Zaidah, GI General Manager Gadi Baltiansky and others.

The seminar is part of an ongoing cooperation between GI and the Shas Party. Participants reported after the seminar that it had an important impact on their view of the conflict and the peace process. They have expressed openness to solutions such as the Geneva Accord once they have learned more about it.
