GI Seminar for Russian-speaking Israelis |
On May 4th-5th, GI held a seminar for immigrants from the former Soviet Union at Kibbutz Shfa'im's guest house.
Approximately 60 organization heads and public opinion leaders attended the seminar, which included a lecture by MK Yossi Beilin on the Geneva Initiative, a lecture by Ella Slutzky on "Israel's Image in the Media, and a lecture by historian Ya'acov Eshkol on "The History of the Israeli-Arab conflict."
Additionally, the two-day seminar included a meeting with Dr. Sa'adya Khatib, a Russian-speaking Palestinian lecturer, and a workshop headed by Social Psychologist David Idelman on the subject of "Conflicts, Mediation Methods and Negotiations." |
