The seminar kicked off with a tour along the path of the separation fence in the Jerusalem envelope, guided by Geneva Initiative representative Colonel (Res.) Shaul Arieli. The tour stopped at a number of different places with viewpoints to the proposed route and presented the advantages of the route offered in the Geneva Accord. The seminar included a panel with GI Co-Architect MK Yossi Beilin and Palestinian Minister of Prisoners Affairs, Youth and Sport Ashraf al-Ajrami.
During the seminar participants also received lectures by Gadi Baltiansky, Director-General of the Geneva Initiative Tel Aviv Office and the former media advisor to Prime Minister Ehud Barak; Izhar Be'er GM of "Keshev"; and Ata al-Kimri, an Al-Quds journalist and director of al-Masdar. The different lectures and speakers focused mainly on media-government relations and on the alternatives proposed to solving the conflict.
