On April 20th-21st, GI held a seminar and discussion for the young leadership of three central Israeli political parties: Likud, Labor and Meretz.

Sixty young political leaders, between the ages of 21 and 32, participated in the seminar, which aimed to introduce future leaders to the Geneva Initiative and raise their awareness to negotiations and the possibility of ending the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Among the participants were Eran Hermoni, Chairman of Labor's Young Guard, Uri Zaki, Chairman of Meretz's Young Guard, and Davidi Hermlin, Chairman of Likud's Young Guard and President of the council of Likud's young generation.

The main speakers at the seminar were Meretz MK Yossi Beilin, Education Minister Yuli Tamir of the Labor Party, and former Likud MK Ehud Yatom. Among the additional speakers were GI Steering Committee members Gadi Baliansky and Shaul Arieli. Discussions included simulations of negotiations and covered issues such as regional conferences and central issues of the conflict.
