On March 23-26, Israeli and Palestinian heads of the Geneva Initiative toured Washington DC and met with US government officials and members of congress.
On February 26th, Chairman of the GI steering commitee Dr. Yossi Beilin and GI director of foreign relations Yonatan Tuval met with French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner.
On January 20th, 2009, Israel Hayom Deputy Editor Chemi Shalev spoke to members of the diplomatic community at a luncheon at Geneva Initiative's headquarters in Tel Aviv on "The Election and the Political Process, Post-Gaza."
