Israel's Young Leadership Convention hosted by GI

On Thursday, December 10, the Geneva Initiative hosted the first convention for Israel's young leadership from the Likud, Kadima, Labor, Meretz and Shas parties.


The convention was held at the Sheraton Moriah in Tel Aviv and was attended by over 200 young political activists and position holders from the different parties.

Speakers included Minister Benny Begin and Head of the Opposition, Tzipi Livni. A keynote address was also delieverd by Israel's Minister of Welfare and Social Services, Isaac Herzog, who stated that the Geneva Initiative will form the basis of any future Israeli-Palestinian agreement.

The event generated media coverage and was reported on in Israel's online, print and broadcast media outlets.
