GI seminar for Labor Party leaders

The GI contributed to the organization of a one day seminar on the Geneva Initiative and the peace process for members of the Kibbutz movement affiliated with the Labor party. The event included a security barrier tour of Jerusalem led by GI Signatory Col (Ret.) Shaul Arieli as well as a meeting in Ma'ale Hachamisha with former PA Minister Sufyan Abu Zaidah. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke to the participants about his plan for a negotiated agreement between Israelis and Palestinians.
