On December 2-3, the Geneva Initiative held a two-day seminar in Ramallah for 35 women who are active in the political arena and represent a number of different universities.

As part of our ongoing outreach to women, the Geneva Initiative (PPC-GI) held a two-day seminar in Ramallah. The seminar was part of a wider Women Capacity Building Course. During the seminar participants were briefed by Dr. Siham Barghouthi - Minister of culture and Mr. Kaddura Fares, President of the Prisoners Club.

The briefings dealt with the role of Palestinian women in the political arena and decision-making processes and with the situation of Palestinian women in Israeli jails.
