Meeting and Tour for Members of Ra'anana...

	On May 25, Geneva Initiative hosted a meeting and tour for school board members of Ra'anana.

Dozens of young city council members and the mayor of Raanana took part in the seminar and tour of the Jerusalem region organized by the Geneva Initiative.  Colonel Shaul Arieli (Res.) guided the group to observation points around the region, and led participants in discussion on the settlements, 1967 lines, and Jerusalem and the Holy Basin.  The tour also demonstrated the potential for solutions to the issue of territory in negotiations with the Palestinians as outlined in the Geneva Initiative model in light of recent speeches by Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Barack Obama.

The 37 participants in the seminar and tour included school administrators, the head and division managers of the school board, and the Mayor of Ra'anana.
