Geneva Initiative leadership course for senior political activists begins

On October 12th, 2009 the Geneva Initiative Office in Tel Aviv launched a leadership course for a group of 45 senior political activists from Likud, Kadima and Labor parties.

The seminar kicked off with a briefing on the issue of borders and the different alternatives for the delineation for the security barrier, by Col. (Res.) Shaul Arieli. Arieli is a GI Signatory and one of Israel’s leading experts on the security barrier and different border alternatives.

The leadership course will comprise of a series of fourteen meetings which will take place at our offices (each other week). Themes to be explored and discussed with the group include the Palestinian narrative; illegal outposts; the history of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, and the Palestinian Refugees and the Jewish State, among others. The course will also include tours to different areas of the security barrier.
