Our local political course in Afula was launched!

On March 28th, the Geneva Initiative launched a two-month political course for community leaders in Afula, a city in Northern Israel. This course brings together political activists from all walks of the political system to learn about various aspects of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The first meeting was a huge success, attracting over 100 people from nearby municipalities. Participants were welcomed by the Mayor of Afula, and then met with Ashraf al-Ajrami, Former Palestinian Minister of Prisoners Affair, and Gadi Baltiansky, Director General of the Geneva Initiative. Both talked with participants about the history of the conflict, focusing on the core issues and the solutions provided by the Initiative.

This course was also made possible through the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development.
