On Sunday, February 3rd, the Palestinian Peace Coalition-Geneva Initiative organized a work shop for Palestinian civil society organizations from across the west bank and Jerusalem.

57 representatives of over 25 institutions attended the workshop, which addressed several issues concerning youths.

Additionally, the workshop set out to cover many of the youth initiatives and ideas aimed at strengthening the concepts of democratic life and acceptance of the other.

Participants also received information on the role of the youth in participating in the decision making process and various other issues such as: capacity-building, cooperation, and definitions of peace, non-violence and civil peace concepts.

The workshop was held as part of a project entitled "Palestine Calls for Peace," which is funded by the Spanish Cooperation Office.
