On September 5th, the Palestinian Peace Coalition-GI held a special seminar at the Ambassador Hotel in Jerusalem on Palestinian preparations for the upcoming Middle East peace conference.

Some 40 people attended the seminar, including politicians, analysts, media specialists and community leaders from the city.

The three speakers at the seminar were Jerusalem affairs expert Nazmi Al Jubeh, Hatem Abdulkader, advisor to PM Salam Fayad on Jerusalem Affairs, and Saman Khoury, political activist and Geneva Initiative board member.

Saman Khoury first presented an introduction on the current political situation and GI Initiative.

Mr. Hazem Abdel Kader and Dr. Nazmi Jubeh spoke of the problems with the vision of the upcoming conference.
