On May 14, The Palestinian Peace Coalition/GI organized a youth seminar in Hebron city, titled "opportunities to renew the peace process and the alternative strategies". The seminar was attended by 35 civil society representatives, university students, and youth activist.

Among the speakers were Dr. Sahar Qwasmi "member of the Palestinian legislative council, who emphasized on several important points including:
1. Dr. Sahar described the current political development as a sensitive and important after falling throw achieve any progress in the Annapolis process including not reaching a final states agreement according to the Annapolis time frame which was suggested by former us president Bush.
2. Further more she accused Israeli of not showing seriousness in negotiation warning that the current methodology of negotiations will not lead to an agreement because of Israeli lack of commitment especial with emerge of Netanyahu right wing government.
3. she pointed out that the best solutions at this point is for both Palestinians and Israeli, to accept the two state solutions as formula to end the 61 year old conflict.
4. she also called for an immediate end for the Palestinian political split, stressing that ending the split is a national responsibility of all factions and civil society organizations.
5. she also encouraged the youth to get more involved in the decision making, and play an effective role in ending the state of division, and support the peace process.
