15.05.2010

The seminar dealt with the need to reach a permanent status agreement for Israel and Palestine. It stressed that the agreement be based upon reasonable and democratic grounds and supply an answer to international legitimacy, the Arab Peace Initiative, and other Palestinian interests, especially those related to refugees.
The aim of the workshop was to foster open dialogue for expression of opinions and positions regarding the general policies in society, mainly those most relevant to youth. Activities helped to define the values and principles that enforce positive behavior, service and loyalty to the birth land.
Among the seminars' achievements:
· Strengthening the connection of youth to the national and moral values of their respective societies.
· Focusing on dialogue as a leading principle in society and culture.
· Calling for youth to participate in the decision making process and take actions in order to influence decisions.
· Stimulating youth to join youth councils.
