The PPC/GI held a youth conference in Gaza City with participants from student governments, universities, and youth activist organizations.

The conference, attended by 70 participants , and was organized in cooperation with Swedish Olof Palme Institute as part of the "Peace at Home Project".

Among the speakers were Mahmoud Qanan representative of student youth movment Fatah, Hani Muqbel representative of Islamic Bloc Hamas, Arfat Abu Zaida representative of Jihad student bloc, Mahmoud Ghanim representative of the student popular struggle front, Mahmoud Al Bobo, youth liberation front, Yarob al Zaghanin Student Committies Struggle Front, Shamak Badra Progressive youth bloc, Nasiem Al madhon representative of student union, Mousa Abu zaid representative of the youth independent bloc.
