During November Geneva Initiative held a seminar for 23 Parliamentary Assistants in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. This seminar was a follow-up to a similar seminar held in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation during July 2006 with the participation of 19 Parliamentary Assistants.

The seminar continued for two days and began with a bus tour to the Jerusalem envelope in order to compare the GI solution to the delineation of the security fence and other proposed delineation routes.

During the course of the seminar participants received lectures and presentations from leading journalists and lobbyists as well as Former PA Minister Qaddoura Fares (Fatah) who presented the moderate voices on the Palestinian side which are often overlooked by the Israeli leadership.

In general the seminar dealt with the alternative of solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through negotiations and an agreed upon endgame.
