Seminar for young party activists from the Zionist Camp and Meretz

On December 22-23, we held a seminar hat provided young party activists from opposition parties with detailed knowledge of the conflict and a toolkit to promote the two-state solution.
The seminar brought together political activists from diverse backgrounds to learn about the core issues of the conflict, possible alternatives to solve it, narratives of their counterparts and benefits of peace. It included a panel discussion on regional and international perspectives on the Middle East Peace Process, which featured Dr. Nimrod Goren, Chairman of Mitvim, the Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies; and Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Israela Oron., former Deputy National Security Advisor and Geneva Initiative board member.
For many of the participants, one of the seminar's highlights was meeting Former Palestinian Minister and current resident of Gaza, Hisham Abdel Razek, who told them about every-day lives of Palestinians in Gaza, as well as current Palestinian efforts to advance the two-state solution.

After the seminar concluded, one participant posted on Facebook that he was utterly surprised by his experiences during the weekend and that he can't believe that just a day ago he "exchanged phone numbers with the former Palestinian Minister of Prisoners". "The Geneva Initiative is not what I've expected", he added.
