University Students Participate in GI Camp |
On March 27th
65 students attended the camp, which offered a series of discussion workshops and training sessions, focusing on several topics, including the EU's support for the peace process and the importance of the Arab Peace Initiative. The discussions also tackled the issue of suicide bombings and their negative effect on the Palestinian image and the issue of refugees and the different solutions presented in the GI model. The camp also set out to raise the participants’ awareness to the Geneva Initiative.
The activity was organized as part of a project entitled “Strengthening the voices of Peace,” which is funded by the European Commission's technical support office in Jerusalem. -31st, GI organized a camp at Al-Fara’a Center near the northern West Bank city of Nablus for university students from all universities in the West Bank. |
