Young Palestinian and Israel Political Activists Participate in Joint Seminar

The Geneva Initiative is continuing to work with decision-makers to ensure that we take advantage of the opportunity to arrive at an agreement. On August 22-24 we ran a joint seminar for Israeli parliamentary assistants and political activists from Yesh Atid, the Labor party, Hatnua and Meretz with Palestinian political activists

The participants heard lectures on the conflict by attorney Talia Sasson, author of the Sasson Report into illegal settlements and senior Geneva Initiative member, Yael Patir, Director of Israel Programs at J Street and Nidal Foqaha, Director of the Palestinian Peace Coalition - Geneva Initiative. During the seminar, the participants took part in a simulation of the negotiations and brainstormed joint projects to help advance the negotiations. We will give updates on these projects in the future.
